It is easy to take some pictures and verses and try to make people think it has connection to religion.
Let’s get upclose and personal with the Director of Fitna movie. Geert Wilders, Chair of the parliamentary party – Party for Freedom. He has been a member of the Dutch Parliament since 1998. This 45 year old politician was raised a Roman Catholic, son of a Manager of Oce – a printing and copying manufacturing company. During his political career he tried to lower taxes, cut most welfare programs, and raise highway speed limit. In recent interview, Wilders more than one indicated that Dutch constitution and European Convention on Human Rights should be amended or temporarily suspended to protect citizens from Islamic extremism.
Fitna comes from Arabic word ‘Fitnah’ means ‘Calumny or Slander’ or false statement about someone, made to damage someone’s character which usually leads to disagreement and division among people.
One of Suras from Qur’an mentioned in Fitna is Al Anfal verse 60:
Prepare for them whatever force and cavalry ye are able of gathering to strike terror, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies, of Allah and your enemies…
Wilders repeat the word ‘to strike terror’ which is absolutely wrong and very provocative. The complete correct translation is:
Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of God and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

Make ready for them, for fighting them, whatever force you can, the Prophet (s) said that this refers to ‘archers’, as reported by Muslim, and of horses tethered (ribât is a verbal noun, meaning, ‘restraining them [for use] in the way of God’) that thereby you may dismay, terrify, the enemy of God and your enemy, namely, the disbelievers of Mecca, and others besides them, that is, other than those — namely, the hypocrites or the Jews, whom you know not: God knows them. And whatever thing you expend in the way of God, its requital, shall be repaid to you in full, and you will not be wronged, [you will not] be diminished anything thereof.
Al Anfal means The Spoils of War, this Surah discuss about war, the spoils of war belong to God and the messenger, left over treasures from war has to be shared to orphans, the poor, those who unfortunate and also soldiers to help wipe out poverty.
Obviously Wilder is being paranoid about Islam expansion in his country. The final segment of the film deals with issues related to Islam in the Netherlands under the heading: ‘The Netherlands under the spell of Islam’.
In my point of view what is the problem with Dutch Police removes their shoes before entering a mosque? Because that’s the way we value the place in which we will worship our God. Or ‘No ban in burqa’ which is tremendous! Freedom of belief, including the freedom to express our beliefs, is the right of each individual. About homosexuality, every religion in this world condemned it and let’s not forget history, I am sure nobody wants to live in sin-infested cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Adulterers must be stoned to death: well who doesn’t agree with that. Adulterers is simply wrong. And wrong is wrong.
Prophet Muhammad -Peace Be Upon Him- was a peace-loving man. He loved humanity more than anything else. Muhammad lived amongst his Jewish enemies for about ten years. In those years, he never did anything that could harm the interests of the Jews. Muslims bear tremendous respect for the Christians as well, as they are the followers of Jesus Christ, an apostle who occupies an exalted position in the eyes of Allah.

If only Rasulullah was here with us today, what do you think he would do? Would he fight against Wilder and west with cavalries? I don’t think so. These people need to be educated. We have to show them a lot more peace. Violence is not the answer.

I’m not interested with those millions of dollars reward for Geert Wilders head. I think this lost soul needs to sit with someone like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, talk over brunch and get some answers to his questions and concerns about Islam. Making peace is no picnic.
